In 1989 she was sold to an owner in Anglesey and used as a live-aboard boat. She subsequently sank in the Sandwich Channel and was broken up. John and Mary Meiklam of Gladswood Registered, built 1923 by White, J Samuel & Co Ltd, Cowes, Isle of Wight Her pilots met all shipping approaching the Mersey and guided them into and out of the docks. She served one week on station at the Mersey bar, one week on station off Point Lynas, and one week as tender to the boats on station.
