[1][2][3] The complex was named after William L. Marcy (1786–1857), a lawyer, soldier, and statesman. [4] Marcy Houses is a public housing development located in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It is part of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), which is the largest public housing authority in North America.
