I have tried replace my fuel pump and filter twice and it does not have any improvement. Sep 7, 2009 · Just this week I replaced the distributor cap & rotor and now it won't start AT ALL! Tried looking for an arc between a spark plug and the engine, but didn't see one. Warm or cold (worse warm) I have to crank for an extended period before the engine will start. The starter is cranking strong. 2. after starting the engine runs extremely rough and the car shakes almost violently.
